The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index increasing by 2.45% to reach 11,372.79 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 1.33% to 2,065.39 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI points rose by 0.91% to 2,251.58 points and by 1.19% to 3,275.37 points, respectively.
The turnover reached EGP 1.53 billion after 590.97 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value stood at EGP 764.74 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 117.64 million. Meanwhile, Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 84.05 million and EGP 33.59 million, respectively.
