Egyptian Bourse ends Tuesday’s session on varied note

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index rising by 1.27% to 10,682.08 points.

The EGX50 index went up by 0.19% to settle at 1,837.26 points by the end of Tuesday’s session.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.98% to 1,813.33 points, while the broader EGX100 EWI inched down by 0.49% to 2,754.06 points.

The market’s turnover reached EGP 3.74 billion after 247.29 million shares were traded through 32,353 transactions.

The market cap value amounted to EGP 694.08 billion.

Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 122.62 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 6.15 million and EGP 116.47 million, respectively.
