Elsewedy Electric’s unit inks $16.7m deal to build substation in Ghana

Elsewedy Electric Co announced that its 99.8%-owned subsidiary Elsewedy Electric for Transmission & Distribution of Energy signed an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreement worth $16.7 million to build a substation for the Electricity Company of Ghana.

The contract includes designing, supplying, and installing a 33/11 kilovolt (kV) substation over a 24-month period on a turnkey basis, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
