The LuLu Hypermarket Group opened its largest branch in Egypt, earlier this week, with the branch at Park Mall in the Porto New Cairo project spread over an area of 9,500 sqm.
Gamal Fathallah, Chairperson of Porto Developments, said that Park Mall is a commercial mall located on an area of 55,000 sqm, with 33,500-sqm of gross leasable area (GLA). It is set to comprise of a group of the largest international brands, in addition to outdoor spaces and garage, which can accommodate 950 cars.
Ayman bin Mukhtar bin Ibrahim Khalifa, Vice Chairperson of Porto Developments, noted that the hypermarket will be the largest branch owned by the group as part of its new concept in Egypt.
Khalifa added that the branch includes a variety of departments that make it a go-to shopping experience for all residents in New Cairo. He also pointed out that this opening is considered the starting point for the opening of a chain of stores and international brands within Park Mall.
