{"id":325850,"date":"2022-07-25T16:25:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T16:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=325850"},"modified":"2022-07-25T16:29:58","modified_gmt":"2022-07-25T16:29:58","slug":"a-new-board-of-directors-for-the-federation-of-egyptian-banks-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2022\/07\/25\/a-new-board-of-directors-for-the-federation-of-egyptian-banks-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"A new Board of Directors for the Federation of Egyptian Banks announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Ordinary General Assembly of the Federation of Egyptian Banks approved the results of the candidacy for membership in the Federation\u2019s Board of Directors on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The final results of the elections resulted in the victory of Mohamed Badir, CEO of QNB Al Ahli Bank; and Hala Hatem Sadik, CEO of Ahli United Bank, by acclamation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Badir has extensive experience in the banking field spanning more than 30 years, and Sadik has a history of giving and achievements in the Egyptian banking sector since 1989 until now, especially in the areas of risk and credit management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After the accession of Badir and Sadik, the Board of Directors of the federation will be headed by Mohamed Al-Etreby \u2014 President of Banque Misr \u2014 as Chairperson, Hisham Okasha \u2014 President of the National Bank of Egypt \u2014 as Deputy Chairperson, and Hussein Abaza \u2014 CEO of Commercial International Bank Egypt \u2014 as Treasurer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Board of Directors also includes Tarek Fayed, Chairperson and CEO of Banque du Caire; Tarek Al-Khouly, Chairperson and Managing Director of saib Bank; Hussein Refai, Chairperson and Managing Director of Suez Canal Bank; and Ahmed Ismail Hassan, Regional Director of the Arab Bank.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ordinary General Assembly of the Federation of Egyptian Banks approved the results of the candidacy for membership in the Federation\u2019s Board of Directors on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":321835,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[22,33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-325850","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-banking","category-main"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.3 -
