{"id":325246,"date":"2022-04-19T11:59:28","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T11:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=325246"},"modified":"2022-04-19T11:59:28","modified_gmt":"2022-04-19T11:59:28","slug":"egypt-qatar-discuss-ways-to-enhance-cooperation-in-transport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2022\/04\/19\/egypt-qatar-discuss-ways-to-enhance-cooperation-in-transport\/","title":{"rendered":"Egypt, Qatar discuss ways to enhance cooperation in transport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Minister of Transportation Kamel Al-Wazir met with his Qatari counterpart Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti in Doha to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various areas of transportation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The two sides agreed to activate a partnership in the field of maritime transport. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Meanwhile, Al-Wazir reviewed Egypt\u2019s implementation of a comprehensive plan for the establishing of sustainable, environmentally friendly green transportation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He also pointed to an Egyptian project to establish a subway line as well as a monorail network in the New Administrative Capital. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Furthermore, he asserted Egyptian efforts to shift to using clean energy sources and environmentally friendly transportation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">During his visit, Al-Wazir also met with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Thani and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries and encourage partnership and investment in various fields of transport.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On the side-lines of the visit, the Egyptian delegation visited Qatar Railways Company Rail, which is responsible for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the entire railway network in Qatar.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister of Transportation Kamel Al-Wazir met with his Qatari counterpart Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti in Doha to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various areas of transportation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":325247,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[24,33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-325246","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-development-partners","category-main"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.3 -
