These were the highlights:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>EU + Egypt to sign MoUs on green hydrogen, ammonia production at COP27<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The EU is gearing up to sign MoUs on green hydrogen and ammonia production during the COP27 summit in November, Timmermans told El Molla, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/377777544392672\">cabinet statement<\/a>. The two sides are set to form working groups to further discussions on energy cooperation and prepare the MoUs ahead of the summit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egypt and the EU will develop a \u201cMediterranean Green Hydrogen Partnership\u201d: <\/strong>Timmermans and Shoukry discussed forming the partnership, which they said would work on \u201chydrogen trade between Africa, Europe, and the Gulf,\u201d according to a joint <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/378064114364015\">statement<\/a>.
