Catalyst Partners has launched an impact investment fund \u201cCatalyst Capital Egypt\u201d with a capital of EGP 1 billion.<\/p>\n

The fund was established in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Misr Insurance Holding Company (MIHC), according to a press release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The fund\u2019s shareholders also include Misr Life Insurance, Banque du Caire, Misr Fund for Finance and Investment, and Attijariwafa Bank.<\/p>\n

This step aims to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n

The fund\u2019s launch was attended by the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation, Rania El-Mashat, and the UNDP Resident Representative in Egypt, Alessandro Fracassetti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
