{"id":324377,"date":"2022-01-09T11:47:06","date_gmt":"2022-01-09T11:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=324377"},"modified":"2022-01-09T11:47:06","modified_gmt":"2022-01-09T11:47:06","slug":"cbe-auctions-egp-21-25bn-more-debt-instruments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2022\/01\/09\/cbe-auctions-egp-21-25bn-more-debt-instruments\/","title":{"rendered":"CBE auctions EGP 21.25bn more debt instruments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered on Sunday, 9 January, treasury bills (T-bills) and bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 21.25 billion through four auctions, according to official data.<\/p>\n<div id=\"Outstream\"><\/div>\n<p>The T-bills notes were worth EGP 20 billion through two issues, with the first one standing at EGP 13 billion in value and carrying a 182-day tenor until 12 July this year.<\/p>\n<p>The second T-bills offering totals EGP 7 billion and holds a maturity period of 364 days until 10 January 2023.<\/p>\n<p>As for the T-bonds, the CBE auctioned EGP 1.25 billion worth of notes through two tranches.
