{"id":324254,"date":"2021-12-23T10:15:38","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T10:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=324254"},"modified":"2021-12-24T10:18:54","modified_gmt":"2021-12-24T10:18:54","slug":"egypts-iron-steel-exports-hit-1-49bn-in-10m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2021\/12\/23\/egypts-iron-steel-exports-hit-1-49bn-in-10m\/","title":{"rendered":"Egypt&#8217;s iron, steel exports hit $1.49bn in 10M"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Egypt&#8217;s exports of iron and steel have amounted to $1.49 billion in the first ten months (10M) of 2021, up by around 189% year-on-year (YoY) from $516 million, according to local press<\/p>\n<div id=\"Outstream\"><\/div>\n<p>Egypt has exported iron and steel to around 80 countries during the January-October period of 2021, according to the monthly report published by the Export Council\u00a0for\u00a0Building Materials,\u00a0Refractories, and\u00a0Metallurgy\u00a0Industries.<\/p>\n<p>Around five countries have accounted for 72.7% of the country&#8217;s\u00a0exports of iron and steel, led by Spain with $269.524 million, Italy with $365.211 million, the US with $158.492 million, and Saudi Arabia with $109.399 million.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egypt&#8217;s Cement Exports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the country exported $397 million in cement in 10M-21, up by around 180% YoY from $142 million.<\/p>\n<p>A total of five countries have represented 60% of Egypt&#8217;s exports of cement, led by\u00a0Ivory Coast with $63.78 million and Libya with $61.469 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Egypt&#8217;s exports of iron and steel have amounted to $1.49 billion in the first ten months (10M) of 2021, up by around 189% year-on-year (YoY) from $516 million, according to local press<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":322087,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[27,33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-324254","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-export","category-main"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.3 -
