{"id":322942,"date":"2021-08-16T13:40:03","date_gmt":"2021-08-16T13:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=322942"},"modified":"2021-08-16T13:40:03","modified_gmt":"2021-08-16T13:40:03","slug":"fitch-solutions-says-egypts-real-gdp-growth-seen-growing-to-5-in-fy22-5-5-in-fy23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2021\/08\/16\/fitch-solutions-says-egypts-real-gdp-growth-seen-growing-to-5-in-fy22-5-5-in-fy23\/","title":{"rendered":"Fitch Solutions says Egypt\u2019s real GDP growth seen growing to 5% in FY22, 5.5% in FY23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Egypt\u2019s real GDP growth is projected to surge to 5 percent in the current financial year 2021\/2022 that ends in June next year, Fitch Solutions said in a recent report.<\/p>\n<p>Real gross domestic product (GDP) of the Arab world\u2019s most populous country is also seen growing 5.5 percent in the financial year 2022\/2023 ending on June 30, 2023, Fitch further said.<\/p>\n<p>In its recent Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region monthly outlook report, Fitch projects Egypt\u2019s real GDP to reach 3.1 percent in 2021 \u2014 on an annual basis \u2014 while average inflation is expected to hit 5.1 percent during the same year.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-120348 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/en.amwalalghad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Fitch-1.jpg?resize=1170%2C565&#038;ssl=1\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1264px) 100vw, 1264px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.amwalalghad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Fitch-1.jpg 1264w, https:\/\/en.amwalalghad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Fitch-1-300x145.jpg 300w, https:\/\/en.amwalalghad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Fitch-1-1024x494.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/en.amwalalghad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Fitch-1-768x371.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1170\" height=\"565\" data-ll-status=\"loaded\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEgypt is a regional bright spot despite the slow vaccine rollout.
