Egypt’s exports of agricultural crops increased by 10% year-on-year (YoY) to $2.215 billion in the first 10 months of the 2020\/2021 season, compared to $2.013 billion.<\/p>\n
The volume of agricultural exports reached\u00a03.971 million tonnes from September 2020 until June 2021, an increase of 5.7% YoY from 3.755 million.<\/p>\n
Arab countries were the largest\u00a0market destination\u00a0for Egypt’s agricultural exports with $741 million for 1.614 million tonnes, followed by European countries outside the European Union (U) with $570 million, and the EU countries with $555 million.<\/p>\n
Citrus topped Egypt’s\u00a0agricultural exports with a value of $843.155 million, while exports of potatoes reached $200.731 million and fresh onion $95.676\u00a0million.<\/p>\n
Russia was the largest importer of Egypt’s\u00a0agricultural crops with a value of $307 million, followed by Saudi Arabia with $252 million and the UAE with $116 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
