{"id":322317,"date":"2021-06-13T11:53:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-13T11:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/?p=322317"},"modified":"2021-06-13T13:52:02","modified_gmt":"2021-06-13T13:52:02","slug":"africa-needs-to-set-10-20-years-strategy-to-boost-investment-mozambique-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egy-africa.com\/en\/2021\/06\/13\/africa-needs-to-set-10-20-years-strategy-to-boost-investment-mozambique-official\/","title":{"rendered":"Africa needs to set 10-20 years strategy to boost investment: Mozambique official"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Africa should have set tent to twenty years term strategy on how investment will look like by that time in order to fulfill the 2063 agenda according to Director General of Mozambique Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX-Mozambique) Lourenco Sambo<\/p>\n<p>He made these comments during IPA Africa Forum 1 to ensure the effectiveness of initiatives launched on that front.<\/p>\n<p>Sambo pointed out that integration is about collaboration \u201cand that is not an easy task.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The APIEX-Mozambique director general gave tips on bolstering investment on the continent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we want Africa to catch up, we have to change the narrative&#8230;We talk about the potential of Africa but we do not really realize the potential of Africa. For instance, we don\u2019t talk about innovation in Africa,\u201d Sambo asserted adding that although it is true that FDI brings in knowledge and technology, Africans have to have their own contribution in industrialization.<\/p>\n<p>Another tip put forward by the APIEX-Mozambique director general is identifying the target market to cater to its needs.
