The first edition of the Senaat Baladna (“Our Country’s Industry”) exhibition will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo between 3-5 July.
The National Press Authority (NPA) is organising the event in cooperation with three state-owned press institutions; Al-Ahram, Akhbar Al-Youm and Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing.
The exhibition is the largest gathering of national industries in Egypt and will showcase the achievements made over the last seven years.
The event will open to the public at 12pm and close at 9pm on Sunday, and thereafter run from 11am-9pm on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Undersecretary of the NPA Ahmed Mokhtar, the exhibit will be an opportunity for all visitors to see Egypt’s unprecedented leap in industry and production.
He added that the exhibit will witness the participation of several companies in sectors including electric appliances, furniture and handmade crafts, medical and pharmaceutical products and cosmetics.
Member of the NPA Walid Abdel-Aziz also stated that the three-day exhibit will witness the participation of construction and building material companies as well as food supplies and products representing Egyptian governorates in additions to the state-owned public sector companies.
