Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea and other Egyptian officials to review means of enhancing cooperation with UAE and Jordan in the industry sector.
The political leaders in Egypt, UAE, and Jordan attach great importance to achieving integration in various industries to serve the interests of their peoples, affirmed Madbouly during the meeting. This integration is also envisioned to serve as a seed for greater inter-Arab cooperation, the premier added.
The meeting tackled ways to capitalise on cooperation opportunities by investing in the competitive advantages of each of the three countries, such as availability of raw material, labour, technological capabilities, business enabling environment and consumer market.
The meeting also tackled the ability to expand into adjacent markets in order to fulfill the three countries’ needs of different products and commodities and reduce their imports.
