Mastercard expands business intelligence platform in Middle East, Africa

Mastercard has expanded its new business intelligence platform, Mastercard Market Trends, in the Middle East and Africa.

The business intelligence platform enables banks and financial institutions to obtain insights into payments, competitive intelligence, and industry trends, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The platform will compare more than 300 cards from five key markets in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), have access to market reports, and analyse global and regional fintechs.

The President of Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Mastercard, Dimitrios Dosis, said: “Mastercard Market Trends offers a one-stop-shop for financial institutions to access key information, which will allow for better decision-making and results.”

Meanwhile, Dosis added: “The platform brings together the latest market, industry, and consumer insights, enabling financial institutions to really understand their customers and confidently embrace the constant evolution in how people shop and pay.”
