The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed an EGP 100 million microfinance contract with Banque Misr to support women.

The step aims to finance women-owned and managed projects to ensure their competitiveness and economically empower women, according to a press release on Wednesday.
The contract was signed by the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry and CEO of the MSMEDA, Nevine Gamea, and the Chairman of Banque Misr, Mohamed El-Etreby.
