Egypt’s foreign reserves up 0.14% in November – CBE

Egypt’s net international reserves have increased by 0.14% month-on-month (MoM) to $40.9 billion at the end of November 2021, according to official data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The foreign reserves last month were higher than $40.84 billion in October.

At the beginning of 2021, the country’s net international reserves amounted to $40.1 billion by end-January.

Egypt’s international reserves have been growing since June 2020, following a plunge to nearly $36 billion from more than $45.5 billion due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
