The consolidated financials of Egyptian Financial Group Hermes Holding (EFG Hermes) registered a 32.22% rise in net profits to EGP 1.12 billion in the January-September period of 2021, compared to EGP 849.8 million in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenues increased to EGP 5.19 billion in the first nine months of 2021 from EGP 4.69 billion in the same period of 2020, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
As for the standalone businesses, the company’s net profits declined to EGP 126.61 million in the January-September period of 2021 from EGP 178.07 million in the corresponding period of 2020.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the first half (H1) of 2021, the company posted a 78.48% year-on-year (YoY) leap in its consolidated net profits, logging EGP 754.95 million, compared to EGP 422.97 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.
