The startups in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector attracted investments worth $390 million during the first nine months of 2021, compared to $190 million a year earlier, according the Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

The minister attended the graduation ceremony of the Summer Internship program in assistive technology (AT), launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and implemented by the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities (NAID), in collaboration with Ain Shams University’s Innovation Hub (iHub).
The program is part of the ministry’s efforts to support research and development (R&D) in assistive technology to empower persons with disabilities and support their social inclusion.
