Egypt’s exports of building materials amounted to $4.683 billion during the first nine months of 2021, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevina Gamea, said.
Over the January-September period of 2021, exports of ceramic tiles stood at $92.million, while exports of sanitaryware reached $122 million, Gamea added in a statement.
She said that the building materials sector made up 24.5% of the country’s total exports to all markets.
The minister inaugurated the official exhibition of ceramic and porcelain tiles (Ceramica Market) held between 4 and 7 November at the Cairo International Convention Centre.
