Trade exchange between Egypt and Oman amounted to $500 million, according to The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea.
She stressed the importance of intensifying efforts between the governments and business communities in Egypt and Oman to enhance bilateral trade and mutual investments.

The Omani investments in the most populous Arab nation reached $77.5 million, injected into 92 companies operating in manufacturing, tourism, construction, and agriculture.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian investments in the GCC nation stood at $680 million, pumped into 142 companies specialised in infrastructure, road construction, and real estate investment.
These statements came during the meeting held by the minister with the members of the Egyptian-Omani Joint Business Council.
