The Egyptian Minister of Housing, Assem El-Gazzar, followed up on the implementation progress of residential units and service projects in the Capital Gardens City, a new fourth-generation smart city.

Work is underway for building more than 92,000 residential units, mostly for limited-income people, as part of the country’s plan to provide housing units for all segments of the society, El-Gazzar said in a statement on Sunday.

Total investments injected into residential projects in the city have reached EGP 15.1 billion, he added.

As for the utilities, the road works at Housing for All Egyptians project have reached an 80% completion rate, while the water, sanitation, irrigation, electricity, gas, communications, and asphalt projects have become 40% complete.
