Egypt-South Sudan trade exchange hits $707k in 2020
Bilateral trade between Egypt and South Sudan amounted to $707,000 in 2020, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, revealed.
The main items of the trade exchange include vegetables, fruits, sugar, glass, and cotton, Gamea said in a statement on Tuesday.
During her visit to the “Made in Egypt” exhibition in Juba, the minister stressed that Egyptian exports have great potential in the South Sudanese market.
The exhibition, which covers 1,800 square metres (sqm), includes various products such as food products, home appliances, ready-made garments, and medical supplies.
