Egypt Post has partnered with microfinance player Tamweely to disburse loans for microbusinesses through the former’s 4k branches across the country, Egypt Post said in a statement.

Tamweely customers can apply for loans through post offices without any required documents, while other services include monthly repayments and inquiring about status of loans before disbursement through the offices.
This comes as Tamweely is making a big push into loans to farmers and small-scale agribusinesses in Upper Egypt and the Delta region after inking an agreement with USAID.
