AOI chief, Romanian ambassador discuss cooperation in various fields
Head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Moneim El Tarras asserted Wednesday the importance of implementing directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as regards transferring technology in cooperation with the international experienced bodies.
At a meeting held with Romanian Ambassador to Egypt Mihai Ștefan Stuparu, the AOI chief highlighted the importance of benefiting from the deeply-rooted and solid ties binding between Cairo and Bucharest through the Egyptian-Romanian Committee to help open up new cooperation prospects in various manufacturing fields.
The meeting touched on the AOI’s vision to deepen local manufacturing and transfer technology in various industrial fields, given the distinguished and historical cooperation between the organization and the major Romanian companies.
For his part, the Romanian ambassador pointed out to the recent successes made by Egypt in various fields, which he said encouraged the giant global companies, including the Romanian ones, to enhance joint cooperation with Cairo.
He also lauded the AOI’s manufacturing and technical potentials as well as the diversity of of its civilian and defense products.
