Egypt’s is keen on boosting cooperation with Sudan on different levels, as well as promoting transit trade of Sudanese goods via Egyptian ports, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait reiterated.
A statement issued by the Ministry said the minister reviewed the outcome of a recent meeting between Egyptian officials and Sudanese businessmen in order to facilitating transition of Sudanese goods through Egyptian ports.
“Egypt will offer full support to the Sudanese side to overcome all obstacles hindering flow of goods,” th minister said.
On his part, Egyptian Customs Authority’s head Kamal Najm confirmed Egypt’s readiness to finalize all measures related to Sudanese imports and exports’ flow.
In meantime, Sudanese officials stressed keenness on enhancing transit trade with the Egyptian side
